Can someone explain exemptions as a whole? For example, personal property. I have a fully furnished home, does this mean I have to sell my furniture? Or things like clothes, shoes, bags, etc.
I also see a wild card exemption.
I guess I am confused what constitutes as personal property for Illinois. I am married but considering an individual Chp 7 if things don’t turn around.
