I have a family member whose house was going up for foreclosure auction last June. They avoided this by filing bankruptcy 5 days before the auction. (Chapter 13) they then did not make any payments on the bankruptcy and it was dismissed. The house went back into foreclosure and was scheduled for auction in March, they filed again in February. Since they fail to keep a job I don’t see them making the payments this time either. What happens after multiple dismissals? Can they just keep filing over and over? I’d think they’re just racking up more fees and debts by doing this…
