My wife and I filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy a couple weeks ago. 2 days ago my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and today was put on hospice. My brother was named as executor of his will and revealed to me that my dad was leaving me about $200,000. My wife and I have about $60k in debt. What should we do? Are we about to lose a large chunk of this inheritance?
