My 341 was today, stressed a month plus for NOTHING. Got maybe two hours of sleep last night. Signed into the Zoom call 15 minutes early. Wore a button up and a tie overkill everyone else was wearing random shirts or outfits. Someone was in their FedEx uniform in their delivery truck.

Trustee did not do a roll call he just read the names in what order he would call us.

Stated the call was set for 60 minutes, not sure what happened after my case I was called at 51 minutes in.

First two no big deal just random chapter 7 cases.

Third case was a mess took 30 minutes. All the things you aren’t supposed to do in the 90 day period before filing. They did it sending thousands of dollars to random people like tens of thousands of dollars, not kidding. There were other things as well red flags all over the place. Purchased not one but TWO cars a month outside of the 90 day look back period. Trustee was pretty annoyed by the guy pretty sure they are going to send that up the chain his case is not over by a long shot.

My case was shortly after his case.

Asked me to swear in is this my name, etc.

Questions:

Address still 123 Sesame St?

Did your attorney provide you a copy of your petition?

Did you review your petition?

Did you sign your petition?

Are there any changes that need to be made that you are aware of? Had two big ones I missed was mainly worried about the spelling of my name address and creditors. Lawyer stepped in and said they would submit the amendment wasn’t a big deal moved past.

Did you list all of your assets?

Did you list all of your debts?

Did you read the information sheet?

Do you still work at XYZ?

Do you pay alimony or child support?

Do you own any real estate?

Okay I have no further questions thank you and you can disconnect.

No questions about using my credit card the first 10 days of my 90 day look back period. It was mainly buying groceries for the family and regular needs since we ran out of money.

The meeting was a lot easier than expected my lawyer tried telling me for a month not as bad as I am thinking. If you are stressed out about it don’t be as long as you were honest with your attorney, paperwork and not trying to hide money or assets.

Future plans not planning on getting any credit cards other than a secured card. No car loans, no loans. If I don’t have the cash I can’t afford it. I don’t ever want to be broke like this again.
