I could cry. My husband and I finally had our consultation after a year or so of debating what to do.
Not only did the attorney say we qualify for chapter 7, but we get to keep our home, both cars, and most of our cash. 😭😭😭 Might have to give up our tax refund, but it would be so worth it.
Apparently our state (SC) has some of the most generous exemptions and I couldn’t be more grateful for that and for a fresh start!
