Hello i’m 20 years old. I live in colorado. I started my debt journey at 18 because of stupidity. I bought things i shouldn’t have at 18 because I thought I could pay them off. I started at 30k for a new car. at 18, then i bought something else for 5.5k And another for 8.8k (don’t ask me why i had the maturity of a 13 year old.) I then proceeded to get into an accident with emergency surgery and plenty of physical therapy and they discharged me with 223k in debt. (No insurance) I make around 26k a year now. I know because of my stupidity i’ve been in the hole with money and my own mental health. Now I’ve matured quite a bit and know how to handle money a bit better. I have been reading Everyone else success stories and I feel this might be the only route at the moment. If any of you have great advice please share. Thank you.
