My original post is out there somewhere on a throwaway. Unfortunately I couldn’t locate it.
Yesterday was a day!
Got into some huge debt between child care, credits cards, medical debt, a lay off and gambling addiction. 330k to be exact. All discharged.
341 in December.
350k Income joint. 1.2 million dollar home. CT with a lawyer.
Kept both cars and the house. No asset chapter 7.
341 was painless, just like everyone has said. Just be honest and provide everything that is needed. We were clearly well above the median income, but we were able to make it work due to our debts and commitments.
I wish we filed sooner and didn’t spent 1.5 years stressing out going insane. Bankruptcy is a tool. It is nothing to be ashamed about. Cannot wait to continue from here.
