I’ve been going back and forth on this for a while, but I think I’m finally at the point where I need to look at Chapter 7 as a real option.
I’m in California and trying to understand what people are actually paying right now from start to finish.
Between attorney fees, filing costs, and anything unexpected—what did your total end up looking like?
Also, did you feel like having an attorney made a big difference, or is self-filing realistic if you take the time to learn it?
Are there any recommended educational resources that simplify the process?
