Just retained an attorney today for chapter 7. I have an email to him as well but he’s out of office for a few days for a funeral.
I’m reading so much I’m probably confusing myself.
Married filing together in California. How much can we have in our bank account? We won’t be filing until June but was advised to stop paying credit cards now. We don’t own a home and we’ll be including 2 of our vehicles in the bankruptcy.
With not paying credit cards and 2 car payments, we’ll definitely have more money. I’m guessing it can’t just sit there, but I’ve also been reading we can’t spend Willy nilly.
