Finally got discharged…..but ended with a terrible settlement with my ex landlord….now I’m paying for my Ex’s damages to our old duplex…all because I didn’t want to live in abuse anymore 🤦 I left with 4 months left on the lease…but since I was apparently the easy one to go after, now I’m stuck paying a total of 14k to my ex landlord.
Has anyone ever had luck getting a place after discharge, especially when you have terrible rental history due to terrible ex’s??
I just feel like no ones going to take a chance on me, between my fresh bankruptcy, and only one good year of rental history out of 6 years 😭😭👍
