I filed chapter 7 last week. Since I had two paid off cars in my name only one was being surrendered to the trustee. The other is my husbands daily so I was in a pinch to replace my car as we have a large family.
I came across another subreddit mentioning McClarkseys (onlinecars.com)
I reached out to them and was approved for a brand new 2026 Trailblazer via GM. 15% interest around $600/mos. NO MONEY DOWN. All taxes and title fees included and delivery. SAME WEEK I FILED
Is this the car of my dreams? Absolutely not. But is this a car I can rebuild with and trust to commute my family in? Absolutely.
Just to share my history- multiple repossessions, recent foreclosure and life kicking me in the butt the last two year I had to file. It was the only way out. Now I am in a better place financially and can have a fresh start.
Seriously reach out to them, this is a friendly Chevrolet dealership that specializes in people in active bankruptcy.
Hope this helps someone!
