I just found out today that my chapter 7 was dismissed not discharged because Bank of America kept calling me and when I finally answered, they said they want their money since it was dismissed. I called my attorney and they said that I finished my debt education course two days late. I don’t even know what that means because they never told me there was a deadline to complete the course and now I’m screwed. They want $300 in attorney fees and $260 in court fees to reopen the case and file the motion and get it discharged. I am so unbelievably upset. 😢 even after I finished the course they sent me confirmation stating they filed it with the court and everything is good to go (this was FOUR months ago) and now I find this out. I don’t even have the funds to pay for this. Ugh.
