Hey yall! My parents started using my SS# when I was SUPER young. So much so that mine was tied to my father’s name. Then once I got that cleared up my identity was stolen, they opened up so many credit cards and phone plans. Then come to find out my mom has been back to using my info. I finally got that all blocked but in the mean time I was like oh why not open this credit card and this credit card so it is now my fault but I have no way out. I’m struggling. Our house is in my husbands name. My car is in both of our names and then he has a truck in his name. He doesn’t know about all of my debt. Can I file bankruptcy without him knowing? How would that work? Can I at the least file and it not affect him??
