Next week I was supposed to sign the papers to get the bankruptcy going. I got a call that I make about a grand too much to qualify for Chapter 7. I recently quit my full time because I was feeling like a zombie, so my brain isn’t working right. I realized I forgot to mention I pay more. $600 cash for misc to my parents. Because they are my parents. I was worried they would get in trouble with taxes if I mentioned how much I give them. I just feel a bit defeated and sad that I was not more organized with my expenses.
My lawyer still believes I qualify and we may have to wait up to a couple months.
