I filed BK and was recently discharged in end of may.. my credit hasnt moved and has stayed 512. Infact the bankruptcy tanked it from a 560 something and I lost my car in the bankruptcy which is actually a reason I filed. My car had a manufacturing defect and I couldn’t drive it with the cracked cylinder head or it could catch fire and i contacted the manufacturer and they denied it even though its a known issue. I couldn’t get a loan to repair it for over 10k.
Fast forward to now and my credit is 512 and hasnt budged at all.. stuff has been dropping off and just making it worse and I now have no car and cant even get approval for any loan.. even all the secured cards i tried.. my ex was nice enough to add me as an AU on a good card still nothing.. ive been using credit karma and nothing.. i know its still VERY VERY early in my bankruptcy but its so depressing to see in this group people doing things the day of and being so relieved and I am thankful all the money I save from not paying bills but I have no car and I feel so stuck..
