Well, I finally spoke to a lawyer. It seems hes super confident I qualify. I got over $15k in credit cards about $900 a month in credit card payments. I currently make $3600 a month after taxes I currently live with my father now temporarily.
The biggest question is the car. Surrender or keep. I owe $35k, I pay $900 a month at around 18% APR. My question is… if I Surrender my car, how do I get to work? I also don’t want it to he repossessed. I would need to get another car to get to work. Problem is I have to pay $2500 for the attorney to file so im basically paying as much as I can to get them paid so they can officially file me.
What was your experience with surrendering vehicles and obtaining one to get to work and stuff? New to this entire process and kind of scared lol
