I’m preparing to file Chapter 7 and I’m hoping to hear from people who have been through something similar.
I have a T-Mobile account in my name with 4 lines. Two of the phones are still being financed, and the account is current. For anyone who has gone through Chapter 7 while having other people’s phone lines on their account, what was your experience with T-Mobile? Did filing affect the other lines or financed phones?
I also have a regular Wi-Fi/internet bill that I pay monthly and it’s current. For those who have filed Chapter 7, how did your internet service work during/after the bankruptcy?
My other concern is career-related. I’m currently going to school for accounting and would eventually like to work in bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, and possibly tax. If you work in one of these fields and have filed Chapter 7, did your bankruptcy ever come up during the hiring process or affect your employment? What do I do?
I’m not looking for legal advice. I’m just interested in hearing about other people’s experiences.
