Im on payment 16 of 36. Below means and my payment is $700. Is it entirely weird that I am having absolutely no problems skating through this? I have managed to get by the same as I did before and I have $7,000 in my checking. I was able to keep $5,000 in tax returns as my lawyer had it set up that way in my plan. Not too far off from getting another large tax return. This is the most money I’ve had in a long time. I have a good amount of money in my HSA and insurance on everything so once this is over ill be doing great. I just got a promotion and along with that was a 12 percent increase at my job so thinking my payment might change, but Im waiting on the paperwork of its start date to give to my lawyer. Just wondering….did anyone else have absolutely no struggle with chapter 13? This feels easier than life was when I struggled so bad. Many years before filing I lived on a very small income. So my debt piled up. Its been a good learning experience and Ill be glad when this is over.
