Hi- I know it was comforting to me to read how people’s cases were shaking out as they went along- so I’m sharing updates from my case too.
Filed in July, Chap 13 100% plan. Only unsecured debt is in the plan (plus a small tax bill around 500 bucks)
Window for my creditors to file claims just ended and a summary report was sent to me. Two of my creditors didn’t file claims which was a huge surprise to me. I never counted on that happening for me- but I feel super lucky and grateful.
Companies that didn’t file claims:
Discover, debt around 6 k
Goldman Sachs (Apple Card), debt around 10 k
So only 58 k that I owe of 74 k is being called due. Such a relief. Will be done early which is such an amazing thing to look forward to.
I also had several medical bills for 100 here and there that no claims were filed for- and so that was the cherry on top!
