FInally it is over!!! I had my 341 meeting in Zoom today. It wasn’t near as bad as I thought it would be. The Trustee was very forward and polite and not at all as scary as I thought they would be. They asked me standard questions. I am now free of the debt so I can go back to work without worries of garnishments. I was out of work due to medical and now I am doing much better. I am relieved it is done. I don’t regret it at all!!! I still have 60 days to wait to see if any creditors step forward, which likely they won’t. I had one creditor in the process of suing me. They dropped the case with Prejudice even before the meeting of the creditors. (That means even if I had lost they couldn’t reopen the case again and sue me.)

I know for some filing bankruptcy is not a good choice, however for me it was the only choice to get my life back!!!. So for those of you considering it. Look at all your finances and your credit score before filing . If you credit score is really bad like mine was and you owe an insane amount that you know you can’t pay back, it is definitely worth looking into and filing. I thought long and hard before I did mine. This was my one and only filing. I did a chapter 7. I had nothing so it was fairly simple process for me. And my credit was already bad so it didn’t harm me, infact it was beneficial for me. For some, it is beneficial, for others it is not. I am 56 and I don’t have too many years left , it was better to file and get out of as much debt as possible so I could continue my life comfortably as possible. Woohoo!!!!
