Filed dec 1st, had to do ch 13 since we were about 6k over the median and means test showed about $500 left over so somehow expected us to make a $1700 payment. But we had no choice really but to sign because my truck was repossessed.
Starting the week after we filed my hours were reduced from 40 to 32 which is about a 500 difference a month in my checks.
Went to lawyer this past Saturday and he acted like it’d do nothing to be able to convert but said if it goes on fro another 6 weeks we “may be able to do it”
I have 2 paystubs (4 weeks worth) showing lower hours, why is this not helping? 6 weeks would be 2 payments i already wasnt sure we’d be able to make but now its gonna be even harder.
Any tips?
