What was your experience like with your bank account after filing? Did they freeze it? I’m filing chapter 7 in California and I bank with a local credit union. I have my car with them that is up to date and a secured card that has a balance but is current. My lawyer just submitted my paperwork and when we discussed this he told me this has not happened with this particular bank but if it does he would just reach out to them and worst case scenario they would ask for a letter from the trustee and it would be unfrozen after they recieved the letter. I guess I’m just a little worried because if they do how am I supposed to pay my rent/electricity etc.
