Oh my God, everyone I’m so happy I just received my order of discharge for all of my unsecured debts. I still have to keep making my car payments, which is excellent and this is probably some of the best news I’ve ever received. Wouldn’t be able to do it without you guys. Generally speaking, the process was really simple. I came across an ad actually, which seemed really hokey on Instagram for bankruptcy and I had no idea. I thought it was really scary because of the movies and I decided after speaking to a Lawyer up the street from where I live that chapter 7 could be an option because ironically enough I had been unemployed for the better part of a year and a half but I was starting a job in about a month and a half so the clock was ticking in the fall and low and behold I just had barely met the median cut off range so I am extremely ecstatic about this. I was $130,000 in credit card debt if you can believe it and I’m 37 years old, I will never do that again $95,000 of that that was all with American Express so I can kiss them goodbye and the funny thing was I was in a payment plan with them two months before I filed for bankruptcy and that payment plan was gonna be $2000 a month for four years can you believe that anyway I’m so happy that I fell into this group by accident and I am so happy I’m gonna celebrate tonight a little bit secretly. The only person that knows I filed as my mom thanks everybody.
