Hi. I lost my job in February and have burned through all my savings. I’ve desperately been long for a new job but no luck. I’ve had dozens of interviews. I’m a felon so it’s hard finding work. My husband has a good job but his income barely covers our rent and both car payments. We’ve been racking up credit card debt weekly for groceries and all other needs such as insurance and internet etc. I previously considered filing for BK7 for myself because I alone have about $15k in debt. My husband has another 9k on his card but we might be able to manage that. The only downside is I would probably lose my car (I still owe $19k) and I have no idea how we can go 3 months without using the cards at all?? We literally don’t have any cash so I’m at a loss at what to do. Any advice appreciated.
