i paid this law firm in full in January and it’s now almost June and i’m still not filed 🙁 the paralegal in this law firm told me she needed to contact the attorney to get authorization and would come into the office today (Sunday) before end of month to file my case. she never called me today and this person has lied to me multiple times before 😔
big problem is my means test was about $38k for the last 6 months (before expenses), and now since it will be June my income changes to $43,200 before expenses (86,800 annualized in Florida for 1 person household). i have huge fluctuations in income – in December i made $100 and in April $20k. paid about $12000 in taxes and my rent is 3k a month.
did they screw me over? or can i still qualify for chapter 7? i was told i was just over the means test with the $38k so i am really worried now.
what should i do 😢
