Here’s a timeline of my Chapter 7:
60k in debt, no assets besides a vehicle which I was able to keep due to exemptions, in a very hcol area with 95k salary at the time.
Initial consult with lawyer: early January 26
Filed: 3/11
341 meeting: 4/8 (don’t stress too much about it. Very simple and easy)
Discharge: 6/10
Can’t begin to explain the feeling of getting the email with the discharge paperwork from the court!
Overall a very smooth process.
Now the rebuild with better habits begins!
