I was completely done with my bankruptcy and I did not include my vehicle because the car payments were too high. They did not offer me any deal and so I just ignored the paperwork to re-affirm my car per my Lawyer and I have not heard one peep. I figured at some point they would come pick it up, but they never did. They just called last week and asked me if I wanted to pay the past due $9500 balance cause obviously I haven’t been making car payments. I gave it up in the bankruptcy or would I like to surrender the car? I told the lady I wasn’t sure I would think about it and call back. I do not want to pay the past due balance so I’m wondering how much longer I could put off surrendering the vehicle like if I was to give them like a date that I could drop it off somewhere?
