I’m in my early 30s and just filed chapter 7 bankruptcy, I feel like a complete failure to be honest. I wish I had know the things I know now in my early 20s. At this point I need to know I’ve made the correct decision. I’m in 140K including my student loans. I filed for a fresh start, grad school is kicking my ass, bills and being a single parent. I just hope I made a great decision, especially for my child. I want them to have a great future, so I’m hoping I’m just taking the correct steps. What really sucks is, in the last year I went from a 820 down to a 580. So I just really lost hope. Today is the first step, and hopefully the right one.
