Last night, while I was at work, I went out to find my car missing. I filed for Chapter 7 last Friday, 7/31 I was only two weeks late and had planned to catch up next Thursday. I called my attorney this morning, and they told me to inform them I was under Chapter 7. When I called the lot, it’s a bhph I informed them of the bankruptcy they chuckled and said, “Okay, we will just keep it then.” I wasn’t able to get in touch with my attorney’s office to let them know the response before they closed. Is it likely I can get this car back? I had planned on reaffirming and just getting it refi once I was dismissed. I dont have any transportation I’ve had to use uber to return to work this evening and will have to until for the foreseeable future.
