(California) Not sure where to ask. my mother that raised me alone has about 7 month left (brain cancer), but feels strongly burdened by her financial debts nevertheless due to debt collectors etc (out of nowhere got sick in june, no income nor bills paid since, nor anyone else other than me and brother in her life, and she has too bad brsin dmg to deal with her self, and my brother and I are jn college, no funds(rent ok tho, she lives w my brother)).
Wondering, is bankruptcy the right route for her? Or do I just say at this point to not care at all (she is, however, in denial).
