I filed in April and my plan was finally confirmed after some back and forth over some small items.
My payments are $201/week which includes my car ($685/month), 2 months of back mortgage payments, and my lawyer and trustee fees. I could have done a 3 year plan but to make payments smaller I’m doing a 58 month plan instead. I opted for payroll deductions which I love. I don’t even think about the payments.
I had to do a chapter 13 due to equity in my house. In my area if you file a chapter 13, the trustee will accept the property tax assessment as the value. If I had done a chapter 7, he would have gone after market value which would be 30-40k higher.
I had roughly 90k in unsecured debt so I’m happy and relieved!
