Chapter 13 100% plan being paid off in full 19 months early. When I got back to my car after overnighting the check via USPS this morning, I cried. Not a little cry, a full-on snot, sobbing, happy, sad, blessed, ashamed, cry.
It’ll be over soon. Ending two chapters in one check. Taking on debt from my financially abusive husband that I could not keep up with, and the shame of having to suck up my pride and filing Ch 13 five years post-divorce. The past 41 months has been the most humbling & eye-opening experience ever. I wouldn’t change that, I would change the government being so deeply involved, but I am sure that won’t ever happen.
Praying it’s all seamless from here. My attorney is amazing. I will be sending her flowers and a gift card when this is all done and closed.
