Hello everyone, I hope yall are doing good! I have a question, I filled for chapter 7 in Florida at the end of last year, and I was discharged earlier this year. Everything has been fine, except a collections agency keeps reaching out to me for a debt that was cleared in my chapter 7. I reached out to the lawyer that handled my bankruptcy and they said they would charge me before answering any questions or looking back into my case. I guess I’m just trying to gage if it would be with it. Coincidentally 👀…a few days after emailing the lawyer about it, I got a letter in the mail about agencies reaching out to me after my case has been discharged & hiring another lawyer to sue. I apologize for the long winded post and if these are stupid questions, but this was my first time ever filing and nobody I know has ever filled so I can’t ask them 🤷🏾‍♀️!
