I am considering using Upsolve to file due to hearing that they take majority cases with no assets. After reading a post I’m wondering if my car would be considered one.
My dad purchased a used car in 2018 and my dad and I are on it, but last year he purchased another used car (‘08 Subaru Legacy) and I’ve been driving it. It does not have my name on it and my sister currently drives the other car. Should I be concerned? Would this be an asset? I don’t want my family to know I am looking to file Chap 7, but if my dad receives notice I do want to be wary.
Both cars were purchased from people my dad knew, not off of the lot.
