I was officially discharged as of 10/23! It was the best decision I made for myself!
I filed chapter 7 in July. 341 was in August.
I was able to get a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L with an interest rate of 5.6% (my dad did cosign, but still!).
And I was approved for a Capital One card, which I only use for gas, and then pay off!!!
The only downfall is now having to wait to obtain any kind of mortgage. My husband and I are tired of renting and want to buy a home but I feel like I for sure screwed us over for awhile…
So the goal now is to rebuild the credit so my husband & I can actually purchase a home.
