I don’t know what to do! I no longer live in TX, and I can’t afford to pay for a whole new attorney! I left my bankruptcy attorney a panicked voicemail, but I don’t know if he’ll be able or willing to help me after 3 years. I’m freaking out! I got 3 calls in a row from an unknown number so when I finally answered it was a process server who gave me a number to call, and when I called that number, I spoke with very nasty people who claimed that the creditor is suing me and gave a case number I can’t find when I search online, they don’t have a website but said it’s because they’re a private firm not open to the public, normally creditors have accepted my bankruptcy attorney’s info but they told me that won’t matter at this point and they refused to take his info and just said that I have to wait for the papers to come in the mail. Is it true that the contract I signed means I can be sued on this discharged ch 7 debt??? What do I do???
