I filed in March with an $890/month payment for 60 months on $44K unsecured debt. The good majority of that debt was with a certain bank with a blue octagon logo.
My claims deadline was last night. And the creditor in question just… didn’t file a claim.
My payment went from $890/mo for 60 months, to $280/mo for 22 months. My attorney told me I got extremely lucky. I feel so much relief, so much anxiety about the future, gone.
There’s always a handful of debtors that get a huge break, but I never thought it would be ME. So I wanted to share my success story to hopefully bring hope to anyone in my situation. The future is bright, and I think all of us (myself included) need a reminder of that sometimes.
