Words of encouragement! when I moved to Nashville, I had a credit card with capital one and had $10,000 limit. I used it when we moved. I was neglectful and didn’t make any payments on my card. I eventually received a letter in February from sheriffs department saying I was being sued by Capitol One, i also had almost 24k in debt. I found an amazing lawyer on my work website where we have legal services at he was phenomenal. He made me feel at ease, he made me feel like I wasn’t a failure.
I applied for bankruptcy in the beginning of March because I had a court date 3/6. I had my 341 meeting March 23rd of this year and I received my discharge letter today May 27 because of the holiday and my discharge date was on the weekend lol you can do this don’t give up.
Don’t feel like a failure in life things happen. Just make sure you have a lawyer that understands you, that listens to you, that will make you feel at ease and most of all professional I could’ve not asked for a better lawyer.
