Hi! Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and can give me some insight. My husband and I filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in May 2024. We were discharged in September 2024. We chose not to reaffirm our 2019 Ford F-150 (the truck had way too many issues that made it not worth it for us). To date, Bridgecrest has STILL not repossessed the truck. At the beginning, I would call and they would state they’d come pick it up at a later date. But now it’s been two years and the truck is still sitting in our driveway. I stopped carrying insurance on it when I assumed the bank would come pick it up. Will they still come get it now that it’s been two years? As far as I know, the battery is dead and I think it now has a flat. It’s basically junked in my driveway. My husband would like to get it running again since the bank hasn’t come for it, but I don’t think it’s worth it. Anyone been in this situation?
