So I’m in a Ch13, about 6 months away from being done with the repayment plan. Long story short, the A/C in my house died and summer is just getting started. The lawyer said to find a loan to cover the replacement(12k) but of course no one will touch me with the bankruptcy still going.
What are my options here? It’s 90 degrees where my kids sleep during parts of the day…
EDIT: I’ve tried both traditional loans as well as trying to use home equity.
