i’ve been struggling financially for a while now, and after trying different ways to get things under control, i’m starting to think it’s time to at least speak with a bankruptcy attorney. i’m not set on filing yet, but i feel like i need to understand my options before making any decisions. i’m in los angeles, and there are so many attorneys that it’s hard to know who actually takes the time to explain things instead of rushing through the consultation. since this is all new to me, i’m hoping to learn from people who’ve already been through the process. looking back, was there anything about the process that caught you off guard or something you wish someone had told you beforehand? i’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences, both good and bad, so i can go into this with more realistic expectations.
