Started out with chapter 13 last year late summer, we paid it for about 6 months. Was doing great on it, but then my husband got laid off and it was just me working. So it wasn’t happening, so my lawyer said we could do a chapter 7. Which saved our home and cars, and gave us a fresh start. One thing i gotta say we lucked out with the best lawyer, he had everything go so smooth. Finally yesterday we were discharged!!!!! Felt like a brick lifting off our shoulders. The best thing is my husband got a promotion and I found a better Healthcare agency, that the pay is so much better. But the one thing we both promised not to do, is get any credit cards!!! If its not paid with cash, I don’t want no part of it. Sure learned our lesson!!
