I filed September 3rd, had my 341 meeting October 7th, and today December 10th my debt is officially discharged. My lawyer said I should get a letter in the mail in the next couple weeks.
I was so scared to go this route, but I’m glad I did. I wish I would’ve done it two years ago. It’s like a weight off my shoulders. I can afford groceries comfortably, not panic when an emergency pops up, and even afford a couple creature comforts.
Thank you to the people here who’ve answered my questions, and to the creators of this group. It really helped me through this reading others stories.
