My chapter 7 was discharged about 6 months ago, my credit went up to 680 and has stayed there for a couple months now. Everything I apply for – I get denied. I’ve tried so many ( only soft inquiries ) , not even AFFIRM will approve me.
I just want to keep building my credit, I don’t need a crazy high offer for any purchase coming up or anything but is a secured card and putting money down on it my only option?
Is this a death sentence for the next 10 years ? I knew it would be difficult but I thought the main issue would be my credit score plummeting, turns out the biggest issue is just having bankruptcy on my record in general.
Any recommendations?
