we are in texas, 12/30/25 was the deadline for creditors to object to our chapter 7 bankruptcy. no objections were ever filed
wondering how soon after their deadline others have gotten their discharge letter. i do have PACER access if that matters and i know it’s not going to be the same amount of time for everyone. just trying to get a general idea
we’re trying to surrender my leased vehicle (our lawyers office told us we can) and get a used car for a lower note. (it would be $300 cheaper a month!) we are already pre approved but the dealerships can’t sell us the car until we have the discharge letter because the lenders won’t push the funding through without it. i’m sitting on pins and needles hoping we get the letter within a week but wanting to hear from others how long it’s taken.
