Has to be one of the most patronizing things that I can’t argue against. Because I am filing for bankruptcy, it can be said I failed at budgeting. But them explaining fixed, variable and periodic expenses is painful. And the scenario of “,if you normally spend $150 a week on groceries, for a family of three and you want to have a small birthday party for your kid….maybe skip the $8 beer”
That broke me and drove me here to gripe.
It was the $600 increase on my mortage, the 2k for a dentist visits, $100 doctor sick visits, stagnating wages and inflation on everything for 5yrs straight…not the bottle of soda I get each week.
Okay. This may be a bigger deterrent to filing than anything.
