I’m considering Filing Ch. 7 asap. My house is in foreclosure due to job loss and I found out from a realtor that there’s a Sheriff’s Sale on May 12th to sell it. I was not notified. My house needs work and my plan, once I’m employed again, was to sell it as-is and get an apartment. I’m worried that nicer apartments with bigger companies will deny my application. Has anyone applied for apartments with larger leasing companies post bankruptcy and gotten approved? How did you do it – hefty deposit? TY
