Seeing lots of awesome stories on here of how bankruptcy was an awesome feeling. My question is more how did you feel before filling when you started to contact attorneys.

Overview i was out of work for 6 months found anjob with a nearly $50k cut, but I absolutely love it (happiest ive been at work). Sadly for the last year its been constant debts falling to collections, a repo (reclaimed), and dodging phone calls from early morning till bed time. I buried my head in sand and just survived.

After researching a ton on chatgpt on payment negotiations and other options it became clear bankruptcy is my best option.

My question is when you started process did you feel guilty about it? I feel like I made this commitments and I’m breaking them. Unlike others its all credit cards and personal loans, granted chunk from when I was unemployed. Is it normal to feel guilt, embarrassed, ashamed? If so how did you manage it.

Thanks in advance
