I’m currently filing chapter 13 bankruptcy, when we went to the attorney he suggest me to do a 3 year repayment plan about $400 monthly and 3 year plan. He told me that it would be best if my fiancé leaves her job. We live together but aren’t filing together and live in Indiana. She really wants to work at least a part time job so that we have some extra money for her to pay off her own debts and save for her own things but the attorney is making it seem like it’s a bad idea for her to work at all for the next couple years. Should we see somebody else?
