I recently filed for bankruptcy back in October (less than a year) for credit card debt. I had my credit cards basically maxed out after grad school.
Anyways, our plumbing pipes need replaced and our foundation is settling. They’re both big projects that I cannot afford.
Is there ANYTHING I can do to help pay for this? I looked at my Mortgage app, and I have about $75,000 of equity in my home right now. I tried a home equity loan through my mortgage company but it was a no because of my bankruptcy last October.
Any advice helps.
